Services Friday
JUNCTION -- Graveside services for Earl Hyde, 83, of Mountain Home, who died Wednesday in Junction, will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Sunset Cemetery in Mountain Home, with the Rev. Ted Campbell officiating.
Born Aug. 2, 1909 in Mountain Home, Mr. Hyde had been a resident of Mountain Home since 1934, formerly residing in Kimble County. He was a rancher and member of Mountain Home United Methodist Church. He married Lillian E. Cobb on Nov. 16, 1934 in Junction. She preceded him in death in 1991.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Earline Blakeley.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Luper of Pinola, Miss.; a son, H. B. Hyde of Ingram; seven sisters, Ellie Cobb of Ingram, Millie Cobb, Eloise Ahrens and Lucille Wachter, all of Kerrville, Irene Meyers of Sonora, Margaret White of Blanco, and Frances Trimble of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Sunset Cemetery Association, HCR 7, Box 11B, Ingram, Texas 78025; or to the Heart of the Hills Hospice.
Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
