Mrs. L. E. Howell Sr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Luther E. Howell Sr., 65, of 115 Filer St., Monroe, will be held at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with the Rev. George Harbuck, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Howell, a native of Woodville, Miss., died Friday afternoon in the St. Francis Hospital after a long illness.

She had been a resident of Monroe since 1922 and was a former teacher in the Franklin Parish schools.

Survivors include her husband, Luther E. Howell Sr. of Monroe and a son, Luther E. Howell Jr., also of Monroe.

Pallbearers will be W. L. Husted, E. M. Steen, F. L. Jones, Robert Warner, Mel Cook and B. E. Tucker.
