Earnest DeLee McMurray
Funeral services for Earnest DeLee McMurray, 86 of Winnsboro
were held Saturday at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro
with the Rev. William Busby officiating. Burial followed at
Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gill
First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. McMurray was
born Oct. 10, 1915 to James William and Zelia McMurray, and
passed from this life on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001. Mr. McMurray
was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church and a life long
resident of Winnsboro. He was owner of Mc's Radio and TV Shop.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline McMurray,
daughter-in-law, Vernetta McMurray; brothers, Vannie McMurray,
Thompson McMurray, John McMurray and Wilburn McMurray.
Survivors include two sons, Bunny McMurray and wife,
Patricia, Bobby McMurray and wife, Raye, all of Winnsboro;
grandchildren, Kevin McMurrray, Kristin McMurray Collins
and husband, Bobby; Ryan McMurray, Michael McMurray and wife,
Samantha, Melissa McMurray Cook and husband, Stevie;
great-grandchildren, Mindy and Andria McMurray; Caleb DeLee Collins,
and one expected great-grandchild; sister, Luda McGraw;
brother-in-law, James Dorman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tommy McMurray, Buddy Ritchie, Leo ``Bub'' Bruce,
Jerry Johnston, Donnie Smith, Bobby Nelson.
Honorary pallbearer was Winton P. Lofton.
