Earnestine June White Hawthorne
Graveside services for Mrs. Earnestine June White Hawthorne will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2003 with Rev. Kenneth Murrell officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Mrs. Hawthorne, age 79, of Pineville, died Sunday, March 9, 2003 in Pineville.
She was a member of Wardville Baptist Church and during her working life she was an assistant manager for the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Hawthorne, Sr. whose ashes will be interred with [her]. Mrs. Hawthorne [was] also preceded in death by a son, Larry Hamilton Hawthorne and a brother, Hamilton White.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Joseph P. Hawthorne, Jr. of Pineville; daughters, Peggy Coleman of Dry Prong, Patsy Cudd of Killen, Alabama, and Sandy Hawthorne of Georgetown; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 9 a.m. until shortly before service time.
