Eddie V. Myers

MEADVILLE -- Services for Eddie V. Myers, 72, of Meadville, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 3 p.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation is until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Myers was born Oct. 1, 1927, in Franklin County, the son [sic daughter] of Ernest Arnold and Pernil [sic Pernie] Freeman Arnold.

She was a homemaker and her church affiliation was with Oak Grove Methodist Church.

Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Glidden of Natchez and Barbara Bienvenu of Brandon; two sons, Glen Halford of Pearl and Jimmy Halford of Natchez; four stepchildren, Mike, Kenny Myra and Susie; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Thornton of Meadville and Earnestine Cater of Natchez; three brothers, Roger Arnold of Smithdale, Rodney Arnold of Meadville and B.J. Arnold of Knoxville.

Pallbearers will be Michael Halford, Joshua Halford, Marc Halford, Carroll Cater, Richard Pickett and Tony Raspberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Thornton and Allea Arnold.
