Eddie Wayne Boley
Eddie Wayne Boley, age 59, of Hermitage, died Monday
Nov 11, 1999, in the Bradley County Medical Center.
Born Nov 20, 1940 in Hermitage, he was a son of the
late Beryl Boley and Irene Cooper Outlaw. He was a
retired employee of Otis Elevator Company with 39
years of service and was currently an inspector with
Elevator Inspection Services. He was a member of
Hermitage Baptist Church where he served as a deacon,
a member of the Hermitage Lions Club, Bradley County
Quorum Court, the South East Rural Water Association,
and The Grassy Pond Deer Camp. He was also a past
member of the Hermitage School Board.
He was preceded
in death by his mother, father, and his step-father,
Curtis Outlaw.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis
Luderman Boley, whom he married October 15, 1960; one
son, Ricky Boley, of Hensley, Arkansas; one daughter,
Theresa Outlaw, of Monticello; 3 brothers, Bobby Boley
of Goose Creek, S.C., Kenneth Outlaw of Bastrop, LA,
Troy Outlaw of Winnfield, LA; 4 sisters, Pat Richard
of Warren, Elois Cameron of Hermitage, Sue Daniels and
Kay Medlin, both of Mesquite, TX; five grandchildren,
Heather, Jeremy and Joshua Boley of Hensley, and Trey
and Kyle Outlaw of Monticello.
Funeral services were
held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov 24, in Frazer's
Chapel with Rev. Terrell Wallace and Rev. Loren
Strickland officiating. Music was provided by Cynthia
Outlaw, pianist, and Bobby McGhee and Melvin Mills,
soloists.
Pallbearers included Sonny Bethea, Don
Barber, James E. Smith, James Ederington, Charlie
Ross, Perry Richard, Russell Richard and Terry Don
Richard. Honorary pallbearers were members of the
Grazzy Pond Deer Camp and the Deacons of the Hermitage
Baptist Church.
Burial was in Pattsville Cemetery by
Frazer's Funeral Home.
Memorials prefered to the
American Cancer Society or the Hermitage Baptist
Church building fund.
