Edgar Crum

Funeral services for Edgar Crum, 73, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Oliver and the Rev. Robin Hood officiating.

A native of Fort Necessity, he was born Dec. 15, 1908. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II. He died on March 8, 1982, of a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Crum, Fort Necessity; six brothers, Earl Crum, Nolan Crum, Tommy Crum, Ray Crum, Huey Crum, and Sula Crum, all of Fort Necessity; two stepsons, J. L. Sikes, Wisner and David Sikes, Fort Necessity.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
