Long Illness Is Fatal to Ruston Man

Edgar Lolley, 45, of Ruston, died Thursday after a long illness, at his residence.

An employe of the T. L. James Construction Co., Ruston, for the past 20 years, Mr. Lolley lived for many years in Shreveport. He was a member of the Brookwood Baptist Church here.

Immediate survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara Jones Lolley, two daughters, Suzanne and Katherine Lolley, and two sons, Edgar Randall and William Howard Lolley, all of Shreveport. Other survivors are one sister, Mrs. J. M. Causey, Pine Bluff, Ark.; two brothers, Charles H. and William H. Lolley, Starksville, Miss.; also eight nephews and nieces, and three great nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Mr. Lolley will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lloyd Brown, pastor of the Brookwood Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will include Dave Lingenfelter, H. A. Curtis, Robert Spivey, Virgil Williamson, Robert Williamson, Lebron Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be L. C. Cathey, Dr. Robert Braswell, Cecil Harrison, Dr. Herbert Shipp, W. H. Kilpatrick, Artis Lee Philyaw, and Jerry Hall.
