Edgar Ray Cloy Sr.

Edgar Ray Cloy Sr., 58, of Port Gibson, died June 4, 2002, at his residence.

Visitation is 5 p.m. today at Bunkley Baptist Church in Franklin County, until services there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cloy was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Franklin County. He was the son of Hollis Cloy Sr. and Margie Irene Coleman.

He was a retired truck driver and a member of Bunkley Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cloy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Cloy of Roxie; a son, Edgar Ray Cloy Jr. of Port Gibson; two stepsons, Michael Wade Martin of Roxie and David Paul Reedy of Massoet; two daughters, Crystal R. Cloy of Meridian and Tanya Halford of Port Gibson; two stepdaughters, Amandal Marie Carrillo of Colorado and Paula Louise Carrillo of Roxie; three brothers, Hollis Cloy Jr. of Natchez,and Creighton and Jessie Cloy, both of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
