Funeral: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport.
GULFPORT -- Edison E. Rayner, 62, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mr. Rayner was a native of Magee and a longtime resident of Gulfport. He was a retired plumber and served in the Army National Guard. He was a lifetime member of the DAV in Gulfport and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Lee and Velia Johnson Rayner; a brother, Winfred Rayner; a sister, Erma Rainer; and a granddaughter, Tina Jean Rayner.
Survivors include his wife, Birdie Mae Rayner of Gulfport; three daughters, Ruby Ladner of Pass Christian and Jean Fournier Flick and Sue Duncan, both of Saucier; a brother, Wildon Rayner of Stringer; a sister, Joyce Hinton of Laurel; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport. A service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
