EDITH BOTT WILLIAMS, 72, beloved wife of John Blanks Williams, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2001. Born in Homer, LA, she grew up in Shreveport, LA and was a resident of Houston/Humble area for the last 40 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Williams; son, Jody Williams and wife Geri; daughter, Judy Culbertson and husband Lee. She is also survived by grandson, Jay Williams; granddaughter Amy Rounkle and husband, Ryan; granddaughter, Denise McFann and husband, Mark; granddaughter, Tiffany Leigh and husband, James. She was also blessed with one great grandchild, Shannon. She is also survived by sister, Olivia Whitehurst and husband, Ed; brother, James Bott and wife, Randy; sisters-in-law, Eloise B. Donahey and Doris W. Parker; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wister and Florence Bott, and a brother Robert Edward Bott.
She was a devoted and loving wife, a wonderful Mother and a caring and selfless friends to all who knew her. We Love You Mom!
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, 2001 from 4:00-9:00 P.M. at Rosewood Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held in her beloved chapel at First United Methodist Church, 800 E. Main in Humble, at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, June 15th. Interment to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
