Edith Elizabeth Dunn
Edith Elizabeth Dunn was born on May 17, 1944 in Bastrop, Louisiana to the union of her parents Epp and Elizabeth Harmon Norsworthy and went to be with our Lord on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Citizen's Medical Center in Columbia. Edie, as she was lovingly known, was a member of Crossroads Cowboy Church in West Monroe and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law: Norma Dunn, father-in-law Rev. I. O. Dunn, one sister Ida Parker and one granddaughter Christy Dunn.
Looking forward to a heavenly reunion, Edie leaves behind her beloved husband of 46 years, Eddie Dunn of Grayson; four sons: Jim Dunn and wife Shanna of Elkhart, Texas; Kenneth Dunn and wife Penny of Clarks; Eddie Dunn and wife Cathy of Pistol Thicket; and Glenn Dunn and wife Shari of Grayson; two daughters: Barbara Dunn of Grayson and Terry Gowan and husband Jim of Grayson; three sisters and one brother: Marie Higginbotham of Monroe; Lou Norsworthy of West Plains, Missouri; Ruby Ojeda and husband Joe of Monroe; and Bonnie Chronister and husband Jim of Paul's Valley, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Neal Miller, Makayla Dunn, Garrett Gowan, Lillie Gowan, Jake Watson, Caitlyn Ford, and Victor Fugate; great-grandchild: Paislee Ramsey; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Homecoming services for Edie will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 from the sanctuary of Springhill Baptist Church in Grayson, Louisiana with Revs. Martin Williams and Bruce Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery in Grayson. Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Friday December 7, 2018 at Springhill Baptist Church from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and 10:00 AM to time of service Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Pallbearers: Neal Miller, Henry Fussell, Steve Ojeda, Raymond Beavers, Eddie Dunn, and Jim Gowan.
