Edith Arnold

ROXIE -- Edith (Doll) Arnold, 50, a resident of Roxie, died Aug. 30, 1990, in Humana Hospital of Natchez.

Services were 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkley Baptist Church of Franklin County. The Rev. Byran Fannin and the Rev. Julius Roberts officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Parker's Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Arnold was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Adams County. She was the daughter of Jesse Fre[e]man and Sara[h] Simms Fre[e]man.

She was a retired cafeteria worker for Franklin County public schools and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her husband, B.J. Arnold of Roxie; two daughters, Carol Ann Gardner of Roxie and Debera [sic Deborah] Thomas of Metairie, La.; three sons, Randy Arnold of Kentwood, La., Danny Arnold and Vernon Arnold, both of Liberty; three sisters, Eula Kirby of Corpus Christi, Texas, Montiel Belk of Metairie and Patricia Wactor of Natchez; three brothers, James Fre[e]man and Leo Fre[e]man, both of Natchez, and Donald Fre[e]man of Roxie, and 14 grandchildren.
