Mrs. Edith H. Temple
Mrs. Edith H. Temple, 84, died at Lincoln General Hospital at 2:30 a.m. Thursday following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Laurel, Miss. with the Rev. Dr. Tucker officiating.
Mrs. Temple is survived by one son, Hawkins H. Temple of Ruston; two grandsons, Robert and Harold Temple of Ruston and two granddaughters, Mrs. Alfred Gravel, Jr., of Alexandria and Mrs. Joe Lyon of Chicago, Ill., and four great-grandchildren.
Her remains will be transported to Mississippi Thursday.
Local arrangements are handled by Spears Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Edith Temple, 84, Ruston, La., formerly of Laurel, died Thursday morning in Ruston. She had been a resident of Ruston for the past several years living with her son.
Services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., from Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Grayson Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Hawkins H. Temple, two grandsons, Harold Temple, Robert Temple, all of Ruston; two granddaughters, Mrs. Alfred Gronel Jr., Alexandria, La.; Mrs. Joe Lyon, Addiso, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. L. C. Smith, Laurel.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Hosey, Jim Edwards, Roy Hosey, Kermit Wigham.
