Services for Mrs. Edith Mae Abrams will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2002 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with the Rev. W.D. Carson officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Ball.
Mrs. Abrams, 76, of Ball died Tuesday, September 17, 2002 in Hilltop Nursing Home.
She was a charter member of Pinehurst Baptist Church and was a food service worker at Ball Elementary School for 17 years.
Survivors include her husband, James P. Abrams of Ball; sons, Jerry and Anita Abrams of Tioga and Andrew and Pam Abrams of Pollock; daughter, Sharon LaBorde of Ball; sisters, Faye Bell May of Clarks, La. and Mary Lee Arnold of Mississippi; grandchildren, Tracy O'Donnell of Boise, Idaho, Jason Abrams of Tioga, Wendy Tran of Alexandria, Katie Abrams of Tioga, Matthew Abrams of Pollock and Michael Abrams of Pollock; great-grandchildren, Jessica Ducote, Nathan Ducote, and Justin Ducote, all of Boise, Idaho.
Pallbearers will be Ken Jones, Brandon Tran, Jerry LaBorde, Wesley Manning, Roy Hebron, and Spencer Williams.
Friends may call Friday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
