Mrs. Edna Cruse

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Cruse, 83, of Winnsboro, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at Lone Cedar Baptist Church. Rev. Nathan Henderson, Dr. Randall Sledge and Rev. Earl Gibson officiated. Burial followed in Lone Cedar Cemetery.

She died Saturday, Dec. 2, at Winnsboro Sanitarium.

Mrs. Cruse was a native of Sikes and was a member of Lone Cedar Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, Thomas B. Cruse, Monroe; Elbert Cruse and Reggie Cruse, both of Winnsboro; Lammie Cruse, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Monroe Cruse, Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Ross, Mrs. Marvee Chesney and Mrs. Joyce Fain, all of Winnsboro; two brothers, Alvin Erskin and Avert Erskin, both of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Vicie Brown, Grayson; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bob Parker, Jack Coughran, Clifton Lord, J.C. Ellerbe, J.B. Smith and Roy Weston.
