MRS. EDNA E. CARLISLE

Mrs. Edna Ezelle Carlisle, 80, a resident of 608 Front St., died in a local hospital Sunday morning.

Mrs. Carlisle was a Laurel resident for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Rev. T. R. McKibbens officiated at the funeral services in the Thompson Funderal [sic Funeral] Home Chapel Monday at 3 p.m.

Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Dewey Carlisle, Alexandria, La.; three daughters, Mrs. T. E. Walters, Laurel, Mrs. George Norwood, Pascagoula, and Mrs. Manuel Overstreet, Hattiesburg; one brother, Earl Hawkins, Waynesboro; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Temple and Mrs. Emma Smith, both of Laurel; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
