EDNA E. McCARTA

EDNA E. McCARTA, 74, of Plant City died Saturday in Plant City. A native of Opp, Ala., she moved to Plant City in 1946 from Milton. She was a retired production worker for Southland Frozen Foods and member of Assembly of God.

She is survived by her husband, Albert S.; a son, Gerald of Lakeland; a stepson, Glenn Arnold of Zephyrhills; three brothers, Wilbur and John Orel Jordan, both of Plant City, and James Bud Jordan of Zephyrhills; five sisters, Jessie Strickland of Winter Haven, Lois Fowler of Milton and Mattie Strickland, Bertha Raburn and Estelle Hall, all of Plant City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
