Funeral services for Mrs. Edna McDonald Williams, 91, of Hebert were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 1997 at the chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks.
Mrs. Williams, the daughter of the late Jim and Vasti Dunn McDonald, was born in Hebert on September 17, 1905 and died Saturday, February 1, 1997 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Columbia Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Williams.
Survivors include: her daughter, Florice Williams of Hebert; her granddaughters, Linda Evans of Hebert, Norma Harris of Monroe, and Janie Harris of Hebert; her great-grandchildren, Penny Williams, Nicole Ates, Wendy Harris, Lori Harris, Rena Ryan, Amber Harris, and Dallas Evans; her great-great-grandchildren, Evan Wilson, Siarra Williams, Colton Ryan, Joshua Ates, and Allison Ates.
Pallbearers were: Ike McClanahan, R. B. McClanahan, Billy Mondisette, Chad Ryan, Billy Joe Poole, and Rev. Johnny Barnhill.
