WINNFIELD - Services for Mrs. Edna Crain, 80, of Winnfield will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday June 9 in the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, where she was a member. Officiating will be Rev. J. P. Miles. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield. Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.
Mrs. Crain was a native of Wyatt, La., and a resident of Winnfield. She served as Registrar of Voters in Winnfield for six years. At the time of her death she was a member of the Pink Ladies. She died at 11:30 p.m., Friday evening, June 7, 1985 in the Humana Hospital in Winnfield following a brief illness.
She is survived by three sons, Charles D. Crain of Arcadia, George Crain of Shreveport and Delane Crain of Winnfield; four daughters, Wanda Meeks and Martha Johnston, both of Monroe, Ouida Anderson and Gay Collins both of Shreveport; two sisters, Katie Copeland of Shreveport and Cleo McConathy of Quitman, La.; two brothers, George and Luther Walker both of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
