Edris Louise Sanders

Born May 16, 1924 in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma to Edward and Tina Reynolds, Louise died May 18, 2013.

Gifted with a Christian attitude to all matters important to her, her eighty-nine years held many roles: daughter, housewife, teacher in the Lake Dallas Public School System, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, charity supporter, her early years were spent on a farm near Emory, TX, longtime member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Richardson, and friend to all who knew her.

Louise was preceded in death by husbands H.T. Mahan, Harold Manner and William R. “Bill” Sanders.

She is survived by her son Thomas E. Mahan and wife Judy of Keller, grandson Christopher Mahan and wife Yumi (Northridge, CA), granddaughter Juliette Mahan (France), great grandson, Viggo M. Mahan, daughter in law Anne-Marie Veau-Mahan (France), niece Barbara Rutherford and husband Dave (New Braunfels, TX). She is also survived by her step children and step grandchildren from the Manner and Sanders families: Robert and Joyce Manner and their children: David and wife Sylvia, and Paige McLeroy, Sandra Sanders Galbreth and partner James Bradley, Randal Sanders and wife Kathy, Brittany Galbreth, Erin Sanders, Ethan Sanders and wife Michelle and daughter Lindy.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Directors from 10:00am until 12:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery #1 in Emory, TX. 1140 FM 2946, Emory, TX 75440.
