Edward Rogers

Edward A. Rogers, 71, of 1764 SW Sixth st., a retired merchant marine captain and a 26-year resident here, died late last night at home.

A former resident of Pensacola, he is survived by his wife, Bessie; two sons, Richard M. and Sgt. James W., and three daughters, Mrs. D. H. Miller, Mrs. J. A. Taudte and Mrs. L. J. McLeod, all of Miami. Three other daughters, Mrs. W. H. Pierce, Mrs. Wade J. Boyd and Mrs. Hugh S. Rogers, a sister and two brothers also survive.

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Van Orsdel Southwest mortuary.
