KRAMER SR., EDWARD FRANCIS

Died 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1991, in Baton Rouge. He was 92, a native of New Iberia and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired sugar chemist having worked for Meeker Sugar Refinery in Meeker.

Visiting at Evangeline Funeral Home, New Iberia, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. Religious services at St. Peter's Catholic Church, New Iberia, at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by Msgr. John Disch. Entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Survived by wife, Viola Shows Kramer, Baton Rouge; a son, Dr. Edward Francis Kramer Jr., Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Rheba K. Mitchell, Richardson, Texas, and Lynette K. Loewer, Eunice; a sister, Willa K. Guidry, New Iberia; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, William B. Kramer and Anna Charlotte Erath Kramer; a sister, Lottie K. Walet; and a brother, August W. Kramer.

He was a 1920 graduate of LSU, he was a charter member of Theta XI fraternity at LSU, a member of Lecompte Rotary Club, Rapides Parish Library Board, and life member of LSU Alumni Association.
