KENT, EDWARD W.

Died at 2:40 p.m., Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was 58 years old, a resident of 2444 Hollywood Drive, and a native of Reeves.

Religious services will be held at the Rabenhorst Funeral Parlors at 10 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Ira W. Flowers officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Dry Creek Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include his widow, the former Ada Sudduth; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Lockhart of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. O. M. Sullivan, Mrs. J. B. Ullathorne, and Mrs. Dan G. Carlock, all of Baton Rouge; one brother, Frank J. Kent of DeQuincy; and two grandchildren. He was a member of the Magnolia Masonic Lodge.
