Welsh Services At WC Cemetery

Graveside services were held for Edward L. Welsh, 56, Thursday morning with I. N. Snow and Rev. J. J. Sloan officiating.

Burial was in the West Columbia Cemetery under the direction of Wait Funeral Home.

Welsh is survived by his wife Jessie Welsh of California; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Powers Sr. of West Columbia, and Miss Earline Welsh of Houston; an aunt, Miss Glenda [sic Glinda] Welsh of West Columbia; one brother, Howard Welsh of Biloxi, Miss.

Welsh formerly lived in West Columbia but at the time of his death he was living in San Antonio.

Pallbearers were Abe Rosmarin, John Earl Cochran, Charles Richards, Roy Powers Sr., Roy Powers Jr. and Bob Powers.
