E. L. WHITTINGTON

Last rites for E. L. Whittington, 45, who died at St. Francis sanitarium yesterday morning at 9 o'clock, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the family residence, 1217 South Second street. Interment will be made in the Riverview cemetery.

Mr. Whittington, who was a member of the Baptist church, is survived by his widow and the following small children, Elsie, age 10; Pauline, 8, E. L., Jr., 7; Barbara Jean, 3; and Alden, nine months. Also surviving are three sons, Carl, Loyd and William Whittington, and a daughter, Mrs. Dulcie Jane Lynch of Arkansas, by a former marriage. His 96-year-old mother, a brother, Walter Whittington of Crystal Springs, Miss., and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Whittington of Crystal Springs and Mrs. J. L. Arnold of Sherman, Texas, are also among the survivors.
