Mr. Edward Scott Rolen, 3109 Morales St., passed away in Dalhart, Texas, Sun. Feb. 24th at the age of 67 years.
Survivors, widow, Mrs. Marcia Rolen; daughter, Mrs. A. T. Welborn, Dalhart, Texas; son, E. J. Pearce, Sanderson, Texas; sisters, Mrs. N. B. Grivas, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Bill Burge; brother, John Rolen, both of California, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Alamo Funeral Home, Wed. Feb. 27th, at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Herbert J. Sheets officiating.
Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Mr. Rolen was a member of the Methodist Church and a member of American Legion, Due Ham Post No. 448, Waelder, Texas. Arrangements by

Edward S. Rolen Rites Conducted
DALHART, Feb. 27 (Special) -- Final rites for Edward Scott Rolen were held Tuesday in San Antonio. Mr. Rolen, 67, died of a heart attack Sunday in a Dalhart hospital. He arrived Saturday from his home to visit his daughter, Mrs. Arch T. Wellborn [sic Welborn].
Survivors include his wife, the daughter, a son, two sisters, a brother and several grandchildren.
