Died Thursday, June 1, 1995, at Sterling Place. She was 99, a native of Grayson and a resident of Baton Rouge.
Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by David S. Terry Fitzgerald. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Survived by a brother, Samuel R. Fitzgerald, Wilson; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Petit; two brothers, and a sister.
She was a member of Weller Avenue Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher.
