Effie Patterson

SHREVEPORT - Graveside services for Mrs. Effie Patterson, 75, of Shreveport, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 9 at Centuries Memorial Park under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Ron Flurry, pastor of Morningside Baptist Church, where Mrs. Patterson was a member, will officiate.

Mrs. Patterson, a resident of Shreveport most of her life, died Monday Feb. 8, 1988, at The Guest House Nursing Home after a short illness. She was the former owner of Patterson Nursing Home.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Tyler of Shreveport; and a grandaughter, Terri Horton and husband, David.
