Elbern B. Carr
COLUMBIA -- Services for Elbern Bernard Carr will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser & Son with the Rev. Woody Rimes officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Carr, 74, of Olla died Monday, March 7, 1994, in St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe.
He was a retired merchant. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in battles in Normandy, the Ardennes, Rhineland and central Europe.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred G. Carr of Olla; two daughters, Sonya Graham of West Monroe and Jamie D. Leaman of New Orleans; his mother, Louise Noble of Columbia; two brothers, Glen J. Wilson of Houston, Texas, and Gregory H. Wilson of Dallas, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Leaman, Buddy Watson, Eric Wilson, Ted Graham, Josh Graham and Byron Bostick.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
