Albert [sic Elbert] E. Hicks

Albert [sic Elbert] Earnest Hicks, 633 Ferry St. SE, died Friday at a local nursing home. He was 81 years old.

A retired locomotive engineer, he moved to Salem 15 years ago from Klamath Falls where he last worked. He was a native of Arkansas.

Surviving are daughters Mrs. Gladys Harling of Woodburn, Mrs. Joy Covey of Vallejo, Calif., and Jewell of Chicago.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at W. T. Rigdon chapel with interment at Belcrest Memorial Park. Rev. C. Everett Moles will officiate.

Services Monday Oct. 3 at 3 P.M. at the W. T. RIGDON CHAPEL. Cottage and Chemeketa N. E. Interment, Belcrest Memorial Park. Rev. E. Everett Moles officiating.
