Eleanor P. King
Eleanor “Lea” P. King, 92, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 in a local hospital.
Born January 31, 1916, in Jonesboro, La., to the late Cleaton Madison and Olive Rebecca Hays Pardue, she was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church, American Day Lilly Association, Garland County Republican Women, Hot Springs Geological Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard A. King, one son, David C. Loe and all her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two grandchildren and their spouses, Angela and Terry Hamilton of Wardell, Mo., and David H. and Kirsten Loe of Hurst, Texas; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John McCallum officiating.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David H. Loe, Terry Hamilton and Drew Hyde. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John Simpson, Ola Freibolt, Annitta Brown and Davis Tillman. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Beautification Foundation or their successor.
