THE REV. E. A. HOLLINSWORTH [sic HOLLENSWORTH]

Warren, Sept 6. -- The Rev. Eli Asa Hollensworth, 70, died at his home here Saturday. He was born December 7, 1866, in Holly Springs. He received his education at Trinity University, Waxahachie, Tex., becoming a minister at the age of 21. He represented the American Sunday School Union as a missionary in South Arkansas about 1900, and later transferred his membership to Pine Bluff Presbytery. He served as pastor in Tillar, Star City, Hampton and Beardon. He was a member of the W. O. W. lodge and an honorary life member of the Masonic lodge.

He married Miss Elizabeth Lee, who survives him. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. L. A. Henderson of Little Rock; two sons, Carl and Carroll C. Hollensworth of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. L. L. Moseley of Little Rock and Mrs. John Hatchcock of Hampton, and three brothers, David of Sparkman and Henry and Hugh Hollensworth of Beardon.
