Elias Joseph “E.J.” Luckette

Elias Joseph Luckette passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was 93 years old.
Beloved husband of the late Bernice Lusk Luckette. Loving father of Sharon L. Hoffman (Edward), William Luckette (the late Carol), Pam L. Donnow (Jack), and Chris Luckette (Dora). Loving grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 10. Brother of Sylvia, and the late Virgie, Velma, Muriel, and Richard. Son of the late George and Ernestine Luckette. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
E. J. was a native of Des Allemands, and a resident of Jefferson Parish for the majority of his life. He graduated from Ponchatoula High School and proudly served his country as a Radio Operator in the United States Navy. He retired from Lee Tractor Company as an accountant after many years of dedicated service.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Thursday morning, September 22, 2016 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 9:00. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.
