Elijah A. Tisdale services scheduled
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home chapel for Elijah A. Tisdale, 79, Rt. 3, who died this morning at Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The Rev. Gerald King will officiate. Burial will be in Dixie Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Tisdale was a life-long resident of Forrest County, a retired carpenter and a member of Dixie Baptist Church.
Survivors are three sons, Webber Tisdale of Merritt Island, Fla., Harold of Yazoo City and Bobby of Highlands, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Dubose of Shreveport; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Amos of Walker, La., and Marvin Tisdale of Moselle; three sisters, Mrs. Bridget Beasley of Pensacola; Mrs. Lorilard Anderson of Moselle and Mrs. Amy Tervree of Laurel.
