JONESBORO (Special) -- Funeral services for E. M. Davis, 76, of Ansley will be held at 4 p.m. today in the Ansley Baptist Church.

Mr. Davis, a retired farmer, died late Friday at his home after a brief illness.

The Rev. Reuben Hammond will conduct the services with burial in the Ansley Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dixie Powers, Quitman; four sons, McBride Davis, Lunston, Miss.; Doris [sic Dorce] Davis, Bakersfield, Calif.; Emmett Davis, Dron, N. D.; Charles Allen Davis, Ansley; a brother, Clarence Davis, Natchitoches; seven sisters, Mrs. Ed Sullivan, Corpus Christi, Tex.; Mrs. Bertha Thompson and Mrs. Gladys Hart, both of San Francisco; Mrs. Leola Moore and Mrs. Frances Moore, both of Timpson, Tex.; Mrs. Willie Carr, Ansley; and Mrs. Euna Hawkins, Shreveport; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
