Elizabeth Ann Elkins

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Parker Elkins, 78, passed away September 12, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Helena, Arkansas and lived in Westlake for 47 years. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake. She loved being outside working in her flower beds. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching scary movies. Betty loved having lunch with her high school friends. She enjoyed trips to Grand Isle and Florida.
Survivors include daughters, Joan E. Harrison and husband, Tim, Rebecca Lee Elkins and Diane Elkins all of Westlake; grandchildren, Cade Harrison and wife, Lauren, Sarah Harrison, Jae Carlock and fiancé, Caleb Carter, Samuel Harrison and wife, Fallon and LeAnn Adams Thompson and spouse, Misti; great grandchildren, Max Carter, Keenan Byrd, Callie Carter and Caroline Harrison; brother-in-law, Danny Elkins; sister-in-law, Shirley Roaten; and her friend, Kristi Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Wade Elkins; and her parents, Robert and Elsie Parker; grandson, Daniel Ross Harrison; great granddaughter, Lily Kate Harrison; and son-in-law, Bill Seger.
Her funeral will be at 11am Monday, September 15, 2014, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation is from 4pm - 8pm Sunday and from 9am until service time Monday at the funeral home.
