Mrs. Howard

LAUREL -- Funeral services will be held for Mrs. W.E. Howard Jr., the former Elizabeth Steele Crow, today at the First Presbyterian Church in Laurel with burial in Lake Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Howard died Saturday night following a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Crow of Greenwood, pioneer deltans. She attended Mississippi State College for Women and the University of Mississippi. She was very active in civic affairs here.

Survivors are her husband, W.E. Howard Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. M.C. McGinity of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. J.L. McCarty of Jackson and Miss Louise Steele Howard of Laurel; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. W.F. White of Canton and her aunt, Mrs. C.R. Prosser of Greenwood.
