Elizabeth Faye Schneider, Vidalia

VIDALIA -- Services for Elizabeth Faye Schneider, 67, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sycamore Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.

Burial will follow at Oswalt Cemetery, in Lismore, La., under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Schneider was born March 19, 1941, in Natchez, the daughter of C.B. Smith and Hazel Rehm. She was a homemaker and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, James ``Jimmy'' Smith, Betty Lou McKenna and Sue Shaw.

Survivors include her husband, Bartell Schneider; one daughter, Karren Roberts and husband, Steve, both of Vidalia; two sons, Bob White and wife, Cindy, both of Delco, N.C., and Mike White and wife, Dee Dee, both of Vidalia; two stepdaughters, Patti White of Natchez and Rami Case; one stepson, Bart Schneider of Lismore; eight grandchildren, Tosha, Mindy, Trey, Brooke, Jesse, Lee, Ryan and Kirsty; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Kalie; two brothers, Horace Lee Smith and wife, Rosa Lee, and Bob Smith and wife, Sheila; and six step-grandchildren, Clint, Issiac, Angel, Vince, Josh and Derek.

Pallbearers will be Trey White, Jesse White, Ryan Hatfield, Ronnie Smith, Jody Smith, Michael Langlois and Aaron Kelly.
