Elizabeth Hinton Forsling
SANDY SPRINGS - Elizabeth Hinton Forsling, age 81, of Sandy Springs died on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Hospice Atlanta.
Born in Macon County, she lived in Reynolds, Georgia most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ben W. and Leila Whatley Hinton. Mrs. Forsling was a graduate of Mercer University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and Cardinal Key National Honor Society. A member of the First Baptist Church of Reynolds, she served as church secretary for many years and greatly enjoyed her work serving others. She was a longtime member of the Reynolds Women's Club, having served as its president, and a member of the Taylor County Kiwanis Club where she served a term as vice president. For seven years, Mrs. Forsling served on the Reynolds City Council.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen E. Forsling of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark W. Forsling and Judge Susan B. Forsling of Sandy Springs; and grandchildren, Bradley W. Forsling and Leslie E. Forsling. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy H. Riley of Montgomery, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Reynolds with the Rev. Glenn Cavin officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
