Mrs. Elizabeth Guice

BASTROP (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth I. Guice, 77, were at 11 a.m. today at the Van Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Carter officiating.

Burial was at the New Pinehill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Mrs. Guice died Wednesday afternoon after a short illness. A native of Franklin Parish, Mrs. Guice had been a resident of Bastrop for the past several years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mary Beasley and one brother, Phillip E. Ivey, both of Bastrop; three stepsons, Howard Guice, Isola, Miss., Harvey Guice, Memphis, Tenn., and Horace Guice, Epps; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Otto Flowers, Ferriday; and several grandchildren.
