SMITH, ELIZABETH MOTT
Died 6:10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 1992, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 68 and a resident of Baywood. She was a retired Pride Elementary schoolteacher. Religious services were held at Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. George Threeton. Burial in Naul Cemetery.
Survived by a daughter, Jan Crowell, Baywood; two sisters, Elsie Zachary, Brownsfield, and Alice Thomason, Ashland, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Tommy Smith; mother, Bertha Treen Mott; father, Thomas Jacob [sic Joseph] Mott; two sisters, Helen Mott Smith Bannister and Tommie Mott Plovanich.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood, Louisiana 4-H Foundation, Order of Eastern Star and DAR. Memorial donations may be made to Louisiana 4-H Foundation, in care of East Baton Rouge Parish County Agents Office or Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood Building Fund.
