ELLA SELLERS

Ella Sellers, 91, of Route 14, died Aug. 12 at her residence after a Iong illness. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Eastview Cemetery. The Revs. Cliff Padgett, Artis Brewer and Bud Swindel will officiate.

She was a lifelong resident of Jones County, a homemaker, a member of Eastview Baptist Church, a lifelong member of the Waynesboro Drive Graden [sic Garden] Club and Home Demonstration Club. She won many prizes and ribbons for flower arranging.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman W. Sellers Sr and two sons, Truman W. Sellers Jr. and James A. Rayner.

She is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Lonnie White of Sandersville and Mrs. Lee Hathom of Laurel; sons, D.A. Rayner of Ocean Springs, A.W. Rayner of Laurel and Robert R. Collins of Pensacola, Fla.; a stepson, Herbert C. Collins of Hattiesburg; a brother, Kenneth Reeds [sic Reeves] of Laurel; 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
