Mrs. Lou Ella Red

CULLEN -- Mrs. Lou Ella Red, 81, died Sunday afternoon in the Community Hospital in Springhill after a long illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Davis officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Jessie Burns. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of the Bailey Mortuary.

Survivors include nine sisters [sic daughters], Mrs. Maudie Hall of Springhill, Mrs. Minnie Timon of Great Falls, Mont., Mrs. Audie Boyd, Mrs. Maggie Branch, Miss Bessie Red, Mrs. Dorothy McDowell and Mrs. Jessie Danilles, all of Fort Worth, Tex., Mrs. Laverne Hutcheson of Magnolia, Ark., and Mrs. Martha Ann Neill of Cullen; 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
