WHITTINGTON, MRS. ELLEN ELIZA

Died 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 85, native of Amite County, Mississippi; resident of Baton Rouge.

Body at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, Gloster, with funeral at New Hope Church, 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial New Hope Church Cemetery.

Survived by three sons, Earl Whittington and Howell Whittington of Baton Rouge and Dale Whittington of Clinton; five daughter, Mrs. Neil Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Truly Whittington of Liberty, Mrs. Lloyd Jones and Mrs. Ted Daigle of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Leo Pregre of Baton Rouge; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
