FLORENCE -- Ellen Dossett, 55, a retired cashier, died of an aneurysm Monday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Simpson County. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

Mrs. Dossett was a Harrisville native and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a former member of McDowell Road Baptist Church. She served in the Forest Hill Youth Association. She retired from Roadway Express as a cashier.

Survivors include: husband, James; daughters, Tammy Dickson of Madison, Debra Turner of Florence and Pam Nantz of Duluth, Ga.; son, Bo Dossett of Jackson; mother, Mary Lou Arender of Harrisville; father, O.H. Frizell of Jackson; and five grandchildren.
