Ellie Bratton

Funeral services for Ellie Brown Bratton, 73, of Rt. 2, Box 279, West Monroe, were at 2 p.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church in Sikes with the Rev. Paul Lee officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Bratton died Saturday at Riverside Nursing Home in Monroe after a brief illness.

Survivors include one son, Ellie Brown Bratton Jr. of West Monroe, three brothers, the Rev. Arlie Bratton and Melvin Bratton both of Columbia, Strick Bratton of Eric; three sisters, Mrs. Dollie Burke and Mrs. Lou Thompson both of West Monroe, and Mrs. Hattie Tolbert of Columbia.
