GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Elmer Ferguson Banks, 89, of Greenville, a homemaker, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville. She died March 6, 2006, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Beulah Ferguson; her husband, Clarence S. Banks; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include five daughters, Virginia Jacobs (JD), Betty Ridings (Lee), Elizabeth Ann Fra[n]klin (Jimmy), Barbara J. Donald (Johnny) and Deborah L. Huenergardt (Eldon); two sons, George L. Banks (Margie) and Clarence Edward Banks (Sadie); 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mortimer Funeral Home.
The officiating minister will be Arthur Scott.
