Elmer Wilson Folden

Funeral services for Mr. Elmer Wilson Folden, age 79 of Monroe were held Wednesday, December 10th, 11 A.M., at the Chapel of Riser & Son with the Rev. Bart Harrison officiating. Burial followed in the Lowe Cemetery, Kelly, under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mr. Folden died December 8th, at the Williamsville, Mo., after a brief illness.

Mr. Folden was a member and deacon of Newlight Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Mr. Wilson Folden, Jr., Jacksonville, Texas, Mr. Glyn Folden, Monroe, and Mr. Benny Folden also from Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Kitty Plunkett, Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Butcher, Dubberly, Mrs. Eunice Flacy, Monroe, Mrs. Georgie Pepper, Monroe, and Mrs. Marjorie Redden, Monroe. There were 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. There were a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Pat Young, Newt Sanson, Paul McCurstin, Van McCurstin, James Parker and Lloyd Peters.
