Mr. Elmon Dodd “Ed” Fletcher, Sr.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Mr. Elmon Dodd “Ed” Fletcher, Sr., 80, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 1992 at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Reeves, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Wellman Funeral Home.

Mr. Fletcher died Sunday, April 26, 1992 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Winnfield, La. and had resided in Shreveport since 1945. He was a postal clerk for the railway mail service, and was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church, a mason and a member of Joppa Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Audry C. Fletcher of Shreveport; one son, Robert Dodd Fletcher of Shreveport; four grandchildren, Jim Fletcher and Deborah Fletcher both of Shreveport, Barbara Palmer Rust and Beth Palmer both of Dallas, Texas; two great grandchildren, Jamie and Lacy Fletcher; one sister, Elizabeth Fletcher Neely of Atlanta, Ga.

Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Joppa Lodge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Fletcher's Sunday School Class of Parkview Baptist Church.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Parkview Baptist Church.
